Continue using ParcelPOS as usual. In the background, new orders, menu changes, and customer data sync to the cloud whenever internet is available.

If you need to set up a new device, log in with your account and select 'Restore Data'. Your complete restaurant data is downloaded and ready to use within minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. ParcelPOS syncs only changed data, not the entire database every time. A typical day of restaurant orders uses 1-5 MB of sync data. You can also configure sync to work only on WiFi if you want to avoid mobile data usage entirely. The app does not sync images or large files unless explicitly needed.
Incomplete syncs are resumed automatically when internet returns. ParcelPOS uses transactional sync - data is either fully uploaded or not at all, preventing partial or corrupted data on the server. Your local data is never affected by sync failures.
A typical restaurant's data (menu, orders, customers, and settings) restores in 2-5 minutes on a good internet connection. The app is usable immediately while historical data downloads in the background. You can start taking orders within minutes of setting up a new device.
