Thermal Printer Integration

Print KOTs and Bills in Under 2 Seconds

Bluetooth. USB. Any standard thermal printer.

ParcelPOS connects to the thermal printers you already have. Print kitchen order tickets, customer receipts, and daily reports on standard 58mm or 80mm printers via Bluetooth or USB.

Printing Should Be the Easiest Part of Your POS

Too many POS systems require expensive branded printers or complex network setups. Indian restaurants need printing that works with affordable, readily available hardware.

  • 1Some POS systems only work with specific expensive printers, forcing restaurants to buy new hardware
  • 2Bluetooth printer pairing is flaky - prints fail during peak hours when you need them most
  • 3KOT prints are too small or poorly formatted, making it hard for kitchen staff to read item details
  • 4No support for multiple printers - restaurants need one for billing and another for the kitchen
  • 5USB printer connections require a specific cable and port, limiting where the POS device can be placed

Works With the Printers You Already Own

ParcelPOS supports standard ESC/POS protocol printers available from any electronics shop in India. Connect via Bluetooth for wireless flexibility or USB for reliable wired connections.

Thermal Printer Integration — Key Capabilities

Everything you need, built into one powerful system.

Bluetooth Printing

Connect to Bluetooth thermal printers wirelessly. Place the kitchen printer anywhere within range without running cables. Pair once, and it reconnects automatically.

USB Printing

Connect via USB OTG for the most reliable connection. No battery concerns, no Bluetooth pairing issues. Ideal for fixed billing counters.

Multiple Printer Support

Connect separate printers for billing and kitchen. Route KOTs to the kitchen printer and receipts to the billing printer automatically.

Custom Print Layout

Configure what appears on your printed KOTs and bills - restaurant name, GSTIN, FSSAI number, footer message, and logo placement. Adjust font sizes for readability.

58mm & 80mm Support

Works with both standard paper widths. 58mm for compact receipts at small eateries, 80mm for detailed bills at full-service restaurants.

Print Queue Management

If a print fails, it stays in the queue and retries automatically. No KOT or bill is ever lost due to a temporary printer issue.

How Thermal Printer Integration Works

1

Connect Your Printer

Go to Settings, select Printer Setup, and scan for Bluetooth devices or connect via USB. Select your printer and run a test print to confirm it works.

2

Configure Print Settings

Set your paper width, add your restaurant name and GSTIN, choose what information appears on KOTs and receipts, and adjust formatting to your preference.

3

Print Automatically

From now on, KOTs print at the kitchen when orders are placed, and receipts print at the counter when bills are settled. No manual printing needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

ParcelPOS works with any thermal printer that supports the ESC/POS protocol, which includes virtually all thermal printers sold in India. Popular brands like Epson, TVS, RUGTEK, and generic Chinese printers (commonly available on Amazon India and local electronics shops for Rs. 2000-5000) all work without issues.
Yes. You can set up different printers for different roles. A common setup is a Bluetooth printer in the kitchen (for wireless convenience) and a USB printer at the billing counter (for reliability). ParcelPOS routes prints to the correct printer automatically based on the type of document.
ParcelPOS holds failed prints in a queue and shows a notification. When the printer reconnects (or you fix the issue), pending prints are sent automatically. For Bluetooth printers, the app attempts to reconnect every few seconds. Your orders and bills are never lost.
Yes, the printer itself determines the paper width. 58mm printers are smaller and cheaper (starting around Rs. 2000), while 80mm printers are wider and produce more detailed receipts (starting around Rs. 3000). ParcelPOS auto-adjusts the print layout based on your configured paper width.
Yes. You can print your daily sales summary, including total revenue, order count, payment breakdown, and tax collected. This is useful for owners who want a physical copy of the day's performance before closing.
