Categories. Variants. Add-ons. All in one place.

Build a structured digital menu that mirrors how your restaurant actually works. From a simple chai stall to a multi-cuisine restaurant with 200+ items, ParcelPOS handles your menu complexity with ease.

Menu Chaos Slows Down Everything

An unorganised menu means slower ordering, wrong items, and missed upsell opportunities on every single table.

  • 1Waiters fumble through long item lists during ordering, slowing down service for every table
  • 2Price updates require reprinting physical menus or manually updating every system and register
  • 3Variants like 'Half/Full' or 'Regular/Large' are handled verbally, leading to wrong orders
  • 4Add-on items like extra cheese or butter naan are forgotten because there is no prompt in the system
  • 5Combo meals and thali configurations have to be manually calculated, leading to pricing errors

A Digital Menu That Works the Way Your Kitchen Does

Organise items by category, define variants for sizes and portions, attach add-ons for upselling, and create combo deals. Update a price once, and it reflects everywhere instantly.

Menu Management — Key Capabilities

Everything you need, built into one powerful system.

Category Organisation

Group items into categories like Starters, Main Course, Breads, Beverages, and Desserts. Nest sub-categories for detailed organisation like 'Veg Starters' and 'Non-Veg Starters'.

Item Variants

Define size, portion, or preparation variants for any item. A single 'Dosa' item can have variants for Plain, Masala, Onion, and Mysore - each with its own price.

Add-ons & Extras

Create add-on groups like 'Extra Toppings' or 'Side Orders'. When a waiter selects an item, relevant add-ons appear automatically for easy upselling.

Combo Meals

Build combo meals and thali platters with configurable choices. Let customers choose 'any 2 curries + 1 bread + 1 rice' from a predefined set at a fixed combo price.

Instant Price Updates

Change a price once in the menu manager, and it updates across dine-in, takeaway, delivery, and QR ordering instantly. No reprinting or manual updates needed.

Veg/Non-Veg Tags

Tag items as vegetarian or non-vegetarian with the standard green and red indicators. Filter menu items by dietary preference for quick ordering.

How Menu Management Works

1

Create Categories & Items

Set up your menu categories and add items with names, prices, descriptions, and GST rates. Import from a spreadsheet if you have a large menu.

2

Add Variants & Add-ons

Define variants (sizes, portions) and attach add-on groups to relevant items. Configure combo meals with selection rules and pricing.

3

Start Taking Orders

Your menu appears on the order screen, organised by category. Waiters tap items, select variants, add extras, and the order flows to the kitchen automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

There is no limit on the number of menu items, categories, variants, or add-ons. ParcelPOS handles menus with 500+ items smoothly because everything is stored locally on the device. Even large multi-cuisine restaurant menus load instantly.
Yes. You can mark any item or variant as 'out of stock' with a single tap. It will be greyed out on the order screen so waiters cannot accidentally add it. Once restocked, toggle it back to available. No need to delete and recreate items.
You can enter item names in any language or script. Many restaurants enter the display name in English for the POS screen and add a local language name in the description field for the kitchen KOT. The system supports Unicode, so Hindi, Tamil, or any Indian language works.
Currently, item prices are consistent across order types. However, you can add packaging charges and delivery charges at the order level for takeaway and delivery orders. Many restaurants prefer this approach for pricing transparency.
Combo meals are billed at the fixed combo price, not the sum of individual item prices. The KOT shows each individual item in the combo so the kitchen knows exactly what to prepare. The bill shows the combo name and its price as a single line item.
